If I wanted I could get Bridgestone RE-11s for 660 bucks(mounted). I hear the sidewall is pretty stiff, which may make the ride a bit busier, but I can handle it. . . probably. I have also heard people can get 15k+ miles out of them, which is really good. Anyone have any thoughts on this? If they are good for the price, I might just buy them next year.
Should add, they will be for daily use for about 6 months of the year(the warmer ones), so that is a thought, road noise isn't that big of a deal to me.

A friend's supercharged V6 Mustang runs RE-11s and they're pretty awesome for track days, autox, and daily driving. I would only recommend them if you're planning on putting them to good use in high-performance driving and driving back home on them without issue.

One of the best summer tires I've ever driven. I will be very sad if they ever discontinue that tire. DO IT!!!

Do you know how they handle cold weather or rain? I've been wanting a set of these, and a lot of ppl daily them. But on my 370 i am a tad concerned they will be like my stock summer tires, and turn to hockey pucks below 40, and turn the road into an ice skating ring when it rains.

I do plan to autocross them at least once a month(sometimes twice), so I do want a tire that can be driven on there and back. I am also going to use them as summer daily drivers. . . don't know if they would be good in the rain and stuff. I have heard they are.

You've made my decision making on where to purchase tires easier. thank you sir.
I have been keeping an eye on them, and they seem great. From what I know (few ppl in my area have them) they work great as daily, but they have a second car to use in the rain/cold/snow, whereas I don't. I've been holding off for that only reason until I can hear from someone how they handle in those situations. Let me know if you decide to get them!

People with Porches were talking about how good they are. These might just be my next tire.

They do well in the rain (especially considering Carolina rains just love to dump everything down at once). Not sure about the cold.

Just make sure you wait until they have a sale on them. It actually costs 60 bucks for mounting and balancing(you also get a road hazard warranty with it), but they have a 70 dollar off coupon every once in a while for certain tire brands, usually switches off ever month.
I have actually heard they aren't bad in the rain, better than most. Apparently they are really loud in the rain though. I only plan on using them during the hotter months of the year so about 6 months a year. So it only has to be good in the rain.

Rain performance is pretty good since it's kept the Stang safe from meeting crashing doom in the monsoon-like downpours.

That is good to know! These are top of the list, as they might meet my expectation of tread life and they have a lot more grip than the summer tires I was gonna get before.

What is interesting is that I wasn't able to find them in my size, on their online catalog. What size were you able to find them on?
Yeah I need mine to work a little more than that lol. My other ride is being used by my wife back home in AZ, where the RE-11s would be at home. But alas, Kansas has stupid weather and snow. Thankfully though I will be moving less than a mile away from work, so that will cut out a lot of driving, and needing them to work in the snow really. Unless I need to, idk, drive while its cold... lol

I found them in 245/40R17. I know they make them in 18s, but in like very few sizes. Tirerack has one listed size. I am assuming you have a 370z and you need like a 275 or something like that?
Here are all the sizes that they come in.

You should totally do it. I have had them on my Audi, Subaru, and the Racescort (as well as my brother's Escort, he actually used to steal them when I had other wheels on the Racescort.)

yeah, for my z is correct. Except its the nismo, so it has 245 in the front and 285 in the back. I was able to find the tires in stock on tire rack, but not on Costco. Oh well. Thanks for trying to help tho!
